The Job
We are looking for a Functional Consultant with strong technical knowledge of Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue to play a key role in the rollout of the platform across AVEVA and to provide support for the Production system.
The functional consultant will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing Zuora’s solutions for AVEVA. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise in Zuora’s platform will drive business outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
The Subscriptions Management Functional Consultant will demonstrate competencies in the following areas:

Advisory & continuous improvement

Keep up to date with Zuora roadmap developments for in scope processes and modules
-
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to optimize system performance.

Document business requirements by engaging with Global Process Owners and business stakeholders
-
Conduct Zuora fit-gap analysis
-
Translate business requirements into Global configuration changes
-
Run knowledge sharing and playback sessions with business stakeholders
-
Test cases, test scripts for core functionalities, new enhancements and defect resolution tests

Design & implement
-
Analyse, design, configure, and support in scope processes and modules
-
Prepare and maintain all functional deliverables including design specifications and documentation of configuration changes and development

Assist users in testing new functionality, documenting and retaining application knowledge

Work with integration and data teams in documenting integration, conversion requirements and designs

Control & collaborate

Maintain Global template and control localizations
-
Maintain configuration management Workbook documentation of Zuora system configurations/setups

Perform technical reviews of configuration (& code if any)

Perform impact assessment of interface changes
-
Present at change control boards
-
Support IT PMs and BAs with information required for new project initiation & delivery

Support

Analyse and troubleshoot Production issues, working with users, IT and 3rd Party Applications Management Service Team and other technical teams to identify root causes and resolutions

Be available to GPOs/business stakeholders to help answer questions

Training and Support:

Train end-users in Zuora functionality and best practices.

Provide ongoing support during and after implementation.

Skills and qualifications:
-
A minimum of five years of experience in an IT solution development discipline
-
The individual can perform as a trusted advisor to the business:

Proactive and positive engagement of business stakeholders
-
Accurate and defined business requirement gathering
-
Successful articulation and presentation of proposed solution to teams and new users covering application configuration, integrations, reporting and data/data migration approaches

A creative and practical approach to addressing problems and recommending solutions

Experience of risk assessment and corresponding testing design across SIT and UAT
-
Successful business stakeholder management and coordination including leading staff through tasks and activities to plan ensuring issues are escalated promptly

The individual ensures good IT process & controls and collaborates with IT to support the business

Good understanding of Release Management processes

Experience of Configuration management and control software or manual documentation of Zuora system configurations/setups and maintenance of Workbook documentation

Experience analysing and troubleshooting issues and developing solutions with tenacity to address root causes

Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required

Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps

Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
-
Experience of design and solutioning of Zuora is essential

A broad experience of subscription tools

Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network, and security

Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with developers
