Summary
Responsible for supporting the Zone Operations Manager in leading, developing, and coaching team members, guiding them in their assigned roles, responsibilities, compliance, and safety practices. Maintain a designated set of direct reports and assist in training and overseeing the daily activities of other managers within the zone. Essential Functions
- Direct Management: Directly manage the day-to-day work of direct reports, providing clear expectations, guidance, and support. Monitor performance, address challenges, and foster a positive working environment for team members.
- Subject Matter Expert: Cross-train as an SME for each of the four operations personas. Be able to problem-solve and train systems required for operational excellence.
- Employee Engagement and Coaching: Has the ability to engage and coach employees effectively. Builds positive relationships with team members, providing guidance and support while fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
- Building Partnerships: Cultivate professional, timely, and effective interactions with both internal and external drivers through various communication channels. Ensure open lines of communication to address concerns, disseminate important information, and maintain positive relationships.
- Leadership Development: Demonstrates and develops strong leadership skills. Exhibits leadership qualities and actively seeks opportunities to enhance leadership skills, inspiring and motivating others towards shared goals. Possesses an eagerness to grow in their knowledge of FLEX operations and an understanding of the interconnectivity of all execution personas.
- Support Zone Execution: Support the Zone Execution Manager with data analysis and metric audits, systems training, coaching strategies, and any additional support needs within the zone.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Applies creative problem-solving techniques to address challenges and find innovative solutions. Approaches challenges with a creative mindset, seeking innovative solutions and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Retention Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement creative solutions for employee retention. Proactively address challenges, listen to feedback, and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Preferred
- H.S. Diploma/GED, Required
- 2 years or more in relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or industry related field, Preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. Advanced, Required
- Logistics industry knowledge with fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components. Advanced, Preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable local and Federal regulations. Advanced, Preferred

Compensation: Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $82,000 to $87,000. Salaries may be supplemented with a 10% annual bonus as applicable and/or as business conditions allow.
