WW Aruba Services Orders Finance Lead

Partner with Aruba Services Sales, Sales Strategy and Finance across all Geos to drive order governance and Order upsides vs. Budget for profitable, growing Aruba Services business. Use AI Tools to automate Services Order forecast process, incorporating key drivers and indicators such as pen rates, eligible base, seasonality, etc. Lead Long Term Planning process for Services Orders. Prepare and present narratives to senior leadership for executive decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong business partner to the Services Sales leader(s).
  • Ensure alignment for actual reporting (definitions, views, and narratives)
  • Coordinate and lead the monthly Flash process including maintain templates and validate accuracy of Anaplan loads.
  • Serve as the liaison between region SS&P, region finance, AGABI and Services Sales leadership.
  • Provide Services Orders forecast to Services Revenue analyst to facilitate accurate Orders to Revenue monthly forecast.
  • Prepare & present monthly Flash narrative to Aruba CFO and other key finance stakeholders.
  • Through KPI’s and insightful analysis, help the business close Order gaps and bring in upsides (stretch goals). Utilize Attach/pen rate Dashboards to highlight and drive opportunities with Sales.
  • Lead the annual LTP Process for Services Orders including (but not limited to) the following:
    • Driver based model development/enhancement (varies by business)
      • Attach/pen rates for Core attach linked to Aruba Product LTP
      • Eligible base for Renewals
      • NaaS Pipeline
    • Provide region level guidance by selling motion, service product line, and quarter aligned to Revenue and LTP growth objectives.
    • Ensure consistent mapping of Services Orders for Quota deployment (example: New Events SMC code for FY24 was incorrectly treated by 2 regions)
  • Participate in ongoing analysis of Customers migrating to Central (SaaS)
  • Partner with Services Sales leader and SASE Customer Success org to improve YoY renewal rates and increase attach of premium support services.
  • Ensure consistency across regions for reporting and programs (or document valid differences). Create forums to share best practices.
  • Assess Services discount proposals through financial analysis/ROI.
  • Provide inputs to Services Sales expense analyst on Orders attainment for bonus and commission accruals.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
  • Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Proven track record working with large data sets and ability to Automate
  • Services experience strongly desired
  • Superior communication and influencing skills.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $101,900.00 - $234,500.00
