You will be an integral part of our controls engineering team, focused on designing intuitive, easy configuration, and visually appealing graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for PRISMIC control systems, ensuring seamless interaction and user/customer experience. Your creative designs and technical skills will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and functionality of PRISMIC Control systems. You will also work with cross functional engineering and product management teams to identify customer needs and create specific user interface applications.
As a WPF Designer - Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Creating visually engaging and user-friendly graphical interfaces using WPF and C# for PRISMIC control systems.

Developing wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to visualise and refine interface designs, incorporating feedback from project & system engineers.

Collaborating with the engineering team to integrate graphical interfaces seamlessly with PRISMIC simulators.

Designing effective data visualisation components, such as charts, trends, event logs, graphs, and dashboards, to provide real-time insights to users/engineers/customers/.

Creating GUI tools to be configured via configuration editor tool.

Ensuring that GUI designs are responsive and compatible with various screen sizes and resolutions.

Conducting usability testing and gathering user feedback to iterate and improve interface designs for enhanced usability and efficiency.

Optimizing graphical interfaces for performance, ensuring smooth operation even in high-demand scenarios.

Creating clear and comprehensive design documentation, including interface specifications, style guides, and user documentation.
To be successful in this role you will:

Have proven experience in designing GUIs using WPF and C# within power, industrial, or automation sectors.

Have a bachelor’s degree in software, electrical, control, computer science, or similar related subject.

Have very good understanding of user-centred design principles and usability.

Have knowledge of software-based microsystems / control and communication systems including Modbus, TCP-IP Ethernet, network communications and its redundancy.

Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
