Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, including management of onsite cafeterias, micro markets, facility renovations, expansions, and operational improvements.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial constraints while maintaining quality standard.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including contractor management, operators, chefs, and staff as well as external partners such as architects, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project alignment and success.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing restaurant and hospitality operations, including health and safety regulations, zoning laws, and licensing requirements.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed expectations, including design specification, construction standards, and operational requirements.
- Identify potential risks and obstacles during project planning and execution, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and timelines.
- Explore and implement innovative technologies and solutions to enhance cafeteria operations such as point-of-sale systems, reservation platforms, and customer relationship management software
- Monitor project performance an outcomes, gather feedback from stakeholders and employees, and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits of cafeterias to ensure the facility and equipment is properly maintained and organized.
- Oversee vending and micro market services for the facility.
- Execute purchase requisitions, purchase orders, process invoices, and submit payment requests.
- Generate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Skill and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, project management, or a related field
- deep understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions, menu development, food safety, and customer service.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects, from conception to completion, within budget and timeline constraints.
- String leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant industry trends, best practices, and regulations, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Power point and Word.
