The Workplace Services team at BlackLine is energetically focused on the employee experience and manifesting the BlackLine brand with fresh, vibrant, and inspiring workspaces . The Workplace Manager for the New York region will be given a task of outmost importance - to take care of our team's well-being and daily workplace operational tasks to ensure the business is operating at the highest levels.
The success of this individual lies in the ability to develop strong professional relationships with the local team s at our New York and Westport locations , collaborate with others, and focus on exceptional employee experiences.
You'll Get To:

  • Provide best-in-class client service that is timely , accurate and seamless; demonstrate sound judgement and quick problem-solving in a fast-paced environment where two days are rarely the same.
  • Evaluate, identify and implement innovative ways to enhance service delivery to maximize and foster a rich culture of connection, collaboration, productivity and fun in the workplace.
  • Cultivate a genuine and personal connection with BlackLine leadership, employees and clients, and create a customized experience so they can work seamlessly, productively, and efficiently.
  • Support the local teams in the New York and Westport, CT BlackLine offices, to include: coordination of team meetings; creation of presentations using PowerPoint; create and distribute site-wide communication; maintain distribution and contact lists. Provide virtual, ancillary support to BlackLine remote employees in the New York region .
  • Create a positive, first impression experience by receiving employees, guests, and visitors . Act as a virtual directory for all employees and guests through possessing full knowledge of conference rooms, departmental location, leadership, BlackLine policies, building policies, and other pertinent, operational information.
  • Ensure the health and safety of employees and guests through maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace environment; participate and comply with all safety protocol as determined by property management; maintain first aid kits and required safety information; and confirm our compliance with required health, safety, and fire requirements.
  • Assist with physical security protocols and BlackLine's badge access program.
  • Manage all workplace related tasks such as janitorial services, order office supplies and equipment; handle mail, shipping, and receiving; maintain furniture and equipment in the workplace. Commit to the local operations by arriving before the start of the business day and conduct a site walk to ensure the highest level of upkeep, appearance and operations of the workplace.
  • Coordinate and implement a snack/beverage program for the workplace; develop a catering program with high-quality options and offerings.
  • Act as an advocate for BlackLine with the building landlord to address and resolve facilities issues and other building concerns. Establish relationships with vendors following established procurement processes. Look for efficiencies and value add opportunities across our spaces and services.
  • Partner with functional managers and the People team; liaise with Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure 100% data integrity and compliance.
  • Own all things social; we love getting together! Organize and arrange social activities and company local meetings (virtual and in person).


What You'll Bring:

  • A personable and professional demeanor
  • Experienced user of MS Office, Teams & SharePoint
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
  • High-level of resourcefulness, confidence, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and meticulous, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Preferred first aid and CPR certified
  • This is an on-site position requiring full time attendance
  • Physical presence in the New York office at least three days per week, or as business n eeds dictate
  • Physical presence in the Westport office at least one day per week, or as business needs dictate
  • Minimal business travel is anticipated

Salary Range:
USD $93,000.00 - USD $124,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
