Working Student – Software Team (m/f/d)                                                                                                                            

In this role you will work within the Cardiac Surgery Businees Franchise and will support the SW Team on the development of Heart-Lung Machines on a wide spectrum of tasks during the design and verification phase. The location is Munich.                                                                                               

Essential Job Functions                                                                                               

• Support the development of Proof of Concepts using C++ or scripting languages
• Support the development of SW Integration test Automation using automated test tools, e.g., Vector CANoe
• Develop SW Test scripts using Python or similar programming language and CAN Bus interface
• Support in the engineering test setup and execution                     

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required                                                                   

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Medical Devices engineering or similar from an accredited college                         
• Basic knowledge of C/C++/Python
• Experience with Laboratory equipment
• Maker attitude
• Comply with site policy and procedures
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of English language. Knowledge of German language is appreciated
• Basics of SW development, e.g., hands on experience with Arduino or RaspberryPi
• Electronic systems schematic interpretation
• Operation and use of standard test and measurement equipment
