Working Capital Consultant Madrid/Barcelona

We are currently looking for innovative professionals with practical experience in working capital initiatives from consulting firm or/and multinational company to support the development of the Working Capital Practice based in Barcelona and Madrid

As a Working Capital Consultant, you will be expected to:

Execute working capital optimization projects for one or several of the Working Capital components (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory) with an end-to-end vision:

• Assess performance, identify gaps with leading and innovative practices, define business case & operational recommendations to drive working capital benefits.
• Develop work plan and identify savings leveraging a driver-based approach and industry benchmarking data.
• Execute transformation initiatives with a focus on value realization and capabilities development sustainability applying innovative combinations of strategy, governance, and organization & process redesign, technology & digital alignment.
• Manage operational reengineering efforts in policies, end-to-end process governance, organizational structure, performance measurement and reporting visibility, incentives programs, technology & digital alignment.
• Manage client relationship at executive and operational level throughout the various phases of the project.
• Support our executive team in some of the business development activities: Design project proposal, prepare client meetings, etc.
• Actively participate in the development of the innovation agenda - developing innovative assets for the practice (ie. tools, whitepapers, partnerships, etc.) in collaboration with other Accenture teams (as “ONE ACCENTURE”).

• Consulting skills / experience in consulting companies with overall understanding of finance processes
• Experience in Order to cash / Lead to cash / Invoice to cash / Lead to quote/cash projects
• Experience in Procure to pay projects is a plus
• Good knowledge of working capital components & drivers and how working capital initiatives create value in an organization is an advantage
• Proven track record in designing & reengineering of operational processes, driving business outcomes and supporting change management in large international companies/ consulting firms
• Good analytical/data analytics skills
• Expertise in at least one of the following processes is a plus: supplier negotiation, credit risk management, collection/dispute, supply chain finance
• Experience into running and facilitating workshops and meetings, negotiation, problem/issue resolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, emphasis on teamwork and customer centric.
• A positive “can do” attitude and openness to innovation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business required.
• Proficiency in English and any other languages advantageous (French is a plus)
• Availability to travel to client premises (if requested)
