About Us: 
The Energy Innovation Center Institute (EICI), a 501.c.3 non-profit, headquartered in Pittsburgh PA, is dedicated to the development and delivery of workforce development and community benefits programs, focused on disadvantaged communities in our region. We are seeking our next Workforce Development and Recruitment Manager to oversee and manage all logistical aspects of workforce development, recruitment, vetting, onboarding, and training for select programs of the EICI with specific focus on our Infrastructure Academy training programming.
Job duties will also include supporting other aspects of the EICI mission including but not limited to enhancing and expanding its recruitment efforts across all initiatives. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for content creation and social media management across all platforms on behalf of EICI programming and brand.
Note: This is an onsite role at the Energy Innovation Center Institute, located at 1435 Bedford Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15219.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract participants from disadvantaged communities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the Infrastructure Academy training program.
  • Instruct classes across various skill curricula, utilizing visual, auditory, reading, writing, virtual reality-based training, and other kinesthetic methods to effectively teach concepts.
  • Collaborate with various employer partners, to ensure high-quality instruction and seamless program delivery.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to promote the program and recruit participants from disadvantaged communities.
  • Monitor program progress and outcomes, ensuring alignment with EICI goals and objectives.
  • Provide support and mentorship to participants, helping them achieve their career goals.
  • Create and edit marketing materials as needed, including flyers, videos, and social media content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree n a relevant field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in workforce development, education, or related fields required.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and delivery, multi-modal instruction, team and resource building, value chain building and other related aspects of effective workforce development preferred.
  • Prior social media management and content creation experience on behalf of a corporate or non-profit brand preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders for the disadvantaged communities in the Tri-state region.

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt; in office, some travel required, within a 2-5 hour-drive range; all approved expenses reimbursed.
