Job Summary:
Responsible for the administration of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to support the long and short term business goals of various functions. Delivers automated HR solutions to the business to drive efficiencies and cost savings. Provides HR and leadership with ongoing consultation on processes and tools, which facilitate the administration of quality and timely data. Works with HR to evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs, and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands. Provides custom report development and provides data to internal customer groups.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Functions as consultant and solutions partner with HR functional owners to deliver tools and system solutions (e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, etc.).
- Participates in global HR processes/system administration and/or development projects.
- Project manages the creation and implementation of HR Operations initiatives.
- Designs, plans, tests and implements both new applications and enhancements to existing systems.
- Provides HR systems expertise and knowledge of GIS/IT initiatives and capabilities in recommending new systems or system improvements to meet internal customer needs.
- Keeps up-to-date of industry trends and new methods in HR information systems as well as business processes and communicates to the HR departments.
- Creates custom reporting and analytics.
- Analyzes business requirements and determines hardware and software requirements to meet data management needs.
- Develops or modifies processes to ensure the effective storage, retrieval and reporting of employee data.
- Ensures integrity of HR databases and any downstream impact with any/all changes.
- Works with HR department to evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands.
- Often serves as HR department liaison to GIS/IT function for downstream impact and coordinates changes.
- Works closely with the HR department to manage change requests and ensure compliance
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Level Specifications:
- Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline. Competent in all job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques and standards.
- Develops solutions for a variety of situations and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis. May refer to policies, practices and precedents for guidance; determines best course of action to achieve results.
- Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. May receive some limited guidance for new assignments. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy.
- Collaborates with management and team members within the department/function and other areas of the organization. May represent department internally or externally.
- Actions may impact the success of the overall department and/or the organization. Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions may result in delays to projects, loss of revenue or allocation of additional resources to remedy.
Work Experience:
- Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
- 2 years Workday Compensation experience
Education and Certification(s):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
- Workday Certifications are a plus
