This role is part of the HR Optimized function, which is responsible for building horizontal capabilities such as Process Excellence, HR Technology, Reporting & Analytics, Engagement & Governance, and Operations & Shared Services. These capabilities will form the foundation of the new HR operating engine for Prudential.
This role will be responsible to collaborate with Group HR Process owners, Workday Functional Leads and Group Tech stakeholders to understand their requirements, assess the impact and implement leading Workday HCM Solutions and processes, across Prudential group and local business units.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday Solution landscape and a credible experience of leading End-to-End HR Technology and Transformation programs and knowledge of Experienced in Agile and Kaizen frameworks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Workday HCM Solutions stack, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving adoption of leading Workday innovations and practices.
- Subject Matter Expert in various Workday modules with hands-on configuration capabilities and experience in leading HR Process re-design engagements in alignment with HR operations and global HR shared services teams.
- Collaborate with Group Process owners, Workday Functional Leads and Group Tech stakeholders, to consolidate & analyse business requirements, and provide tailored solution in Workday as per design specifications.
- Solutioning for multiple HCM areas and end-to-end touchpoints between Workday HCM, Workday Solutions and Products, Finance and 3rd party applications,
- Take ownership of developing and maintaining appropriate documentation including technical specifications, mapping documents, and test plans, for future reference and audits.
- Conduct solution enablement and training sessions, for relevant stakeholders in driving adoption across the organization.
- Stay updated on the latest Workday releases, features, and functionalities, and assess their impact on relevant solutions.
- Take ownership of developing and maintaining appropriate documentation of Workday support maintenance activities and design changes, for future reference and audits.
- Instil a “Continuous Innovation” mindset as a Team Player, by mentoring team members and collaborating with them, to jointly deliver high-quality solution and services to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of Industry trends and advancements through Workday releases, features, and best practices, and recommending enhancements aligned to the organization needs
Skills & Requirements
- Overall 15+ years of experience in leading HR Consulting, Advisory and HR Technology implementation experience or in a similar role.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as HCM Solution Architect, leading end-to-end HR Transformation Projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Products and Solution landscape, with hands-on experience in Workday HCM solutions across several modules such as Recruiting, Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Performance, Talent & Succession Planning, Time-Tracking, Learning, Workday Extend, and Workday Adaptive.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, to proactively assess and resolve day-to-day issues, and independently drive initiatives to improve Workday Solution and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with team and stakeholders at all levels and across geographies and cultures.
- A commitment to continuous learning and driving improvement.
- Workday certification(s) in relevant modules is preferred, but not mandatory.
