Job Description

INTRODUCTION:

We are looking for a Workday HCM Analyst with a focus on Time and Absence Management to join our People operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing time-off and leave processes within the Workday system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless Employee experience. The ideal candidate will have experience configuring, testing, and troubleshooting time-off, leave of absence (LOA), and accruals within Workday.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage and Optimize Absence Management:
    Configure and maintain time-off plans (vacation, sick leave, earned leave, etc.) within Workday to ensure accurate tracking of employee leave balances and compliance with company policies.

  • Leave of Absence (LOA):
    Oversee and optimize the management of various leave types, including medical, parental, and personal leaves. Ensure accurate tracking, efficient workflow within the Workday system.

  • Accruals Management:
    Ensure proper accrual of time-off based on company policies, employee tenure, and other relevant factors. Resolve any discrepancies in leave balances and escalate issues as needed.

  • Testing and Troubleshooting:
    Conduct regular system testing to validate leave balances, time-off accruals, and LOA processes. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to leave management to ensure data integrity and user satisfaction.

  • Compliance and Support:
    Ensure the Workday system is configured to comply with company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements regarding time-off and leave management. Provide expert support to HR teams and employees for any leave-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolutions.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Experience with Workday HCM, particularly in Time and Absence modules.

  • Strong knowledge of leave of absence management, including medical, parental, and personal leaves.

  • Familiarity with accruals and time-off management processes.

  • Proven ability to configure and maintain absence management solutions within Workday.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail in leave balances and accruals.

  • Understanding of compliance standards and regulatory requirements related to leave and absence management.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support HR teams and provide guidance to employees.

AND IT'S GREAT TO HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience working with Workday, especially in the Time and Absence area.

  • Workday certification in relevant HCM modules is a plus.
