Join us and discover how our people write our story.The AMS team is looking for a highly experienced Workday Financials Stream Lead who also acts as the AMS Functional Lead Consultant in one or more modules of Workday Financials with a preference for a subset of:·Financial Accounting·Supplier Accounts·Procurement·Customer Accounts·Customer Contracts·Banking & Settlement·ProjectsA robust general understanding of the Workday Financials product and touchpoints is required.As the Financials Stream Lead, you will hold responsibility for the successful management of the AMS Financial case queue; this includes assigning, monitoring, and guiding cases, as well as delivering cases in your own functional areas.The Financials Stream Lead holds responsibility for developing the AMS/Post Production Services offerings for Financials. This includes identifying patterns of pain points among our customers, finding opportunities to create value, and applying innovation and a unique perspective to business problems. This will also include assisting in Workday releases, tenant reviews, and the refinement of existing reuseable materials. You will be encouraged and supported to expand and improve our existing offering, and to delegate responsibilities to the Financials Implementation team where appropriate and agreed with the Financials team lead.The Financials Stream Lead will also work closely with the Manager, Core Consulting and the PPS (Post Production Services) leadership team to optimize the to optimize the nature and delivery of our Financials AMS offering and cases. Responsibilities will include supporting consultant development, offering regular feedback on team members, and advising on hiring opportunities in the Financials area.You will have demonstrably strong knowledge of Workday functionality, configuration, testing, and best practices in your functional areas. You will be able to think through dependencies, cross-stream implications, maintenance concerns, and to guide clients on how/what to test.You will be responsible for proactively gathering complex requirements, understanding the Financials use cases behind Workday functions, and learning clients' internal processes. You will have strong problem-solving skills, which you will use to deploy creative solutions to solve challenging problems. You will have an appetite and aptitude for researching and developing solutions to complex Workday-related issues.You will be able to build strong relationships with clients, as well as balance competing priorities of different urgencies across multiple clients. You will be expected to establish reasonable timelines and estimates with clients and drive work forward to timely completion.You will also be able to make unsolicited but related and valuable suggestions of how to improve the configuration and ultimately the user experience within Workday. You will also be able to lead junior consultants and teach best practice on approaches, requirement gathering, and configuration.You are passionate about process improvement and will support your team with initiatives around internal processes and how we work with our customers. You are a strong communicator and have the motivation to work with others to get buy-in on these initiatives.As a lead, you can work with your team to achieve our consulting standards and act as a role model for less experienced consultants.Qualifications
- Workday certification in multiple Workday Financials modules.
- At least 5 years of configuration experience in Workday.
- Completed 5+ end-to-end financial suite implementations in multiple modules.
- Worked in a post-deployment setting for at least 3 years.
- Client-side experience in a financials role is very beneficial.
