SMX is seeking a Windows Systems Information Assurance Administrator to support our customer with collecting IA artifacts in support of the Navy RMF process for systems in their hybrid on-premise and GovCloud data center. These artifacts include STIG checklists, ACAS scans and other various items supporting the assessment and authorization and continuous monitoring processes.
This is a hybrid role based at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor NHDSM ticketing system
- Monitor/Manage/Schedule/Forecast Upcoming IA Work
- Work with a large variety of Data Center teams to alleviate Cyber findings and concerns
- Attend collaboration meetings to address STIG/EvaluateSTIG discrepancies
- ACAS scanning and reports
- Support vulnerability detection, remediations, and mitigations
Required Skills & Experience
- Clearance Required: Secret
- Must be eligible for upgrade to Top Secret
- 2-4 years of Windows Administration experience
- Experience in DoD Information Assurance/Cyber policy and procedures to include hardening of systems, implementing STIGs, and scanning
- Knowledge of NIST guidelines and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience with administering Windows/Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices, including STIG checklists and SCAP scanning
- DoD 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) (Examples of minimum acceptable certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, G SEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
- Detail-oriented and able to work multiple assignments autonomously and in a team setting
- Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation is desired
- Experience with ACAS Security Center is desired
- Experience with PDQ Management Software is desired
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Sever Update Services (WSUS) is desired

The proposed salary for this position is:
$80,000—$143,000 USD
