  • As LEAP Estates’ subject matter expert in Wills and Probate, you will be instrumental in shaping our offering and ensuring LEAP Estates’ position as the best Wills and Probate software solution in the UK market.
  • You will identify opportunities for future development projects to enhance the end consumer experience, develop initiatives to improve usage, engage with customers and other stakeholders to source feedback and report KPIs to the executive team.

Our Content team are the local, regional, and global professionals reassuring clients that our software isn’t just cutting edge – it’s world-class too. Responsible for maintaining LEAP’s global standards of care and expertise, the team harnesses a deep and complex understanding of the intricacies of law across jurisdictions and over time – ensuring LEAP’s output is always current, compliant, and appropriate.

From database design to document management and legal research, you’ll turn an encyclopedic knowledge of the law into a more streamlined and automated global LEAP experience. As a result, LEAP helps law firms help people and make a real difference.

Requirements

What you'll do

    • Develop and maintain an outstanding knowledge of LEAP Estates & it’s companion products.
    • Promote use of LEAP Estates products & drive adoption in Wills and Probate.
    • Shape product development of software in Wills and Probate.
    • Report on in-depth competitor analyses in areas of Legal Technology.
    • Ensure LEAP’s processes comply with up-to-date legislation within Wills and Probate.
    • Research forms, legislation, and legal processes relevant to Wills and Probate.
    • Identify the need for, schedule & conduct onsite / remote visits & training sessions.
    • Attend industry events to speak with existing customers.

What you'll bring

    • 3-5 years experience working as a Wills and Probate Solicitor, with experience in aspects such as Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, Trust, and Probate. Knowledge of Court of Protection, Deputyship, and Estate Disputes would also be advantageous.
    • Up-to-date specialist knowledge of the law and legal system, and relevant experience in handling a wide range of cases.
    • Experience with case management systems.
    • An understanding of the small law firm’s culture & expectations.
    • A passion for technology.
    • Budgeting skills and commercial awareness.
    • Ability to work on own initiative.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • Full clean driving license / Access to own car and ability to drive.
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); skilled in dealing sensitively with clients.
    • Completed a degree or equivalent qualification.
