Position Summary
WGL Energy Services is a leading regional energy services company dedicated to providing innovative and reliable energy solutions to residential and business customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing team and contribute to the execution of our marketing strategies.
Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting various marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, content creation, paid/earned/owned marketing coordination, and marketing analytics. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a passion for marketing. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in marketing principles and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and email marketing.
• Assist in the creation of marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and marketing collateral.
• Support market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze marketing data and website analytics to track campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare marketing reports and presentations summarizing key metrics and insights.
• Manage social media accounts and engage with followers across relevant platforms.
• Assist with the development and management of marketing budgets.
• Maintain marketing databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Support the sales team with marketing materials and sales enablement tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of marketing projects.
• Assist in maintaining website content and ensuring accuracy and with the most up-to-date content.
• Perform administrative tasks related to marketing projects, such as processing invoices and managing vendor relationships.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new marketing initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-4 Years in a marketing role required
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics/GA4) and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with social media management tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of the energy services industry is a plus.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $94,250 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
