What Digital Marketing & Ecommerce contributes to Cardinal Health
Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.
Digital Marketing & Ecommerce is responsible for developing and driving digital marketing campaigns and strategies that meet and/or exceed business objectives and provide additional insight about our customers across all digital channels.
 

Summary

The Web Operations (Web Ops) team is a strategic partner to our corporate, marketing, communications, sales and product teams, providing relevant information about our products and services on our websites. Our team manages all content publishing for cardinalhealth.com and eight international websites that support the public-facing customer experience, brand equity and lead generation. Web Operations also manages the complexities of web-based applications and the systems that support them.

Our websites are our “always-on” sales and marketing team, therefore we strive to deliver quality experiences that have a direct impact to our users, whether they are current or prospective customers, investors, job seekers or anyone looking to gather more information about our business.

Responsibilities

  • Deploys and instruments web content using CMS (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Partners with Manager of Web Operations and User Experience (UX) Lead to achieve desired site strategy and purpose: user needs; business and support needs; communication and marketing needs; budget and resources; publishing policy and process
  • Manages the process, authoring and publication of the homepage banners that are updated on a weekly basis
  • Manages and maintains site presentation, interface design, information architecture for each project assigned
  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of website tools, such as a content management system, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Builds web page experiences that meet stakeholder's needs and ensures authoring guidelines and standard operating processes are maintained while overseeing multiple projects
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
  • May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Works on complex projects of large scope
  • Completes work independently; receives general guidance on new projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical major (e.g. CS, CIS, IS, etc.), or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in related field preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) required
  • Experience with other Adobe Marketing Cloud tools a plus
  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge and understanding of web design, usability, SEO and branding for support, maintenance and planning purposes

Anticipated salary range: $79,700-$113,800
