The Web Development Manager will develop, test and maintain high-quality user interfaces using modern front-end technologies. The role is responsible for some design background and translating UI/UX designs into code, producing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with the creative and content teams, product and technology teams to bring creative experiences to life online.
- Optimize websites for different breakpoints using responsive design.
- Ensure technical feasibility of UX/UI designs.
- Ensure sites function across different browsers.
- Run tests to ensure optimal site performance and speed as well as ensuring all functionality is working appropriately.
- Responsible for version control: documenting controls, revisions, and source information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of front-end web development experience
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience
- Experience working with visual studio code
- Experience working with Git
- Experience using Figma, Adobe XD and other Adobe Creative Suite applications
- Ability to test and debug websites
- Experience working with Bootstrap
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring appropriate applications adhere to them
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
