Job Summary
The Web Developer will join the Website Operations team at Optimum who will utilize their knowledge of front-end development to primarily assist in updating and maintaining content on B2B acquisition and care websites. Other areas of focus will be the Mobile Product and B2C Web Properties. The Developer will be expected to work with Project Managers, QA Analysts and other Developers to align on requirements and scope while considering best practices.
Responsibilities
• Support Senior Developer with day-to-day content updates across our various online applications with direction from marketing, Creative Services, or Sales orgs • Assist in the creation or revision of new or existing sales and marking landing pages in support of ongoing or new marketing campaigns • Perform QA on own content revisions, and other pages as needed in support of the team • Adhere to deadlines and complete work accurately and in a timely manner • Annotate site revisions to maintain proper record keeping through content version control • Participate in content and/or code releases to assist with QA, validation, or emergency bug fixes
Qualifications
• 3 or more years of professional non-internship experience with web development using HTML and CSS • Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 best practices for scalable responsive design • Strong affinity for clean code and simple solutions • Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and juggle many projects at once • Interest in learning new technologies and applications • Ability to troubleshoot bugs within own custom code or existing snippets and can enhance or change existing features as needed • Experience with cross-browser testing and diagnosing compatibility issues that may affect all devices • Strong communication skills • Ability to cover afterhours, weekend, and overnight deployments

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,112.00 - $126,684.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
