What you’ll do:

As an Air Force Weapons System Sustainment (WSS) Expert, your day will:

  • Revolve around managing the integration of resourcing across various Air Force maintenance programs, collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Involve ensuring the sustainability of weapons systems within the Department of Defense (DoD) budgetary and legislative requirements.
  • Require working with senior leadership, program managers, and external partners to ensure proper funding and alignment of strategic goals.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • An active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance.
  • 10+ years’ experience supporting DoD program POM planning and development. CDFM preferred.
  • Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) expert
  • Knowledge and experience collaborating with stakeholders and Program Element Monitors (PEM) supporting the WSS Portfolio and other programs aligned to the Maintenance Enterprise and mission.
  • Knowledge and experience required of Air Force resourcing requirements and alignment with Congressional and Legislative affairs.
