Job Title: Platform Operations Analyst (Contract)
About the role
This role, Platform Operations Analyst, will be reporting to the Head of APAC Operations during the Project Phase, and transitioning into a Business as Usual position reporting to the Client Operations Manager, working within a broader operations team.
Aberdeen Asia is launching a new wealth management platform; iHub, servicing APAC distributor clients. This newly created role offers the unique opportunity to join during the Project Phase and work closely with the Proposition team to deliver the product to market.
Once the iHub is live, the primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth functioning of our wealth management platform & processes, servicing distributor clients and assisting with their queries.
Aberdeen Asia values the balance between collaboration and flexible working. We follow a hybrid work policy that enable staff to work three days in the office and two days from home.
Key Responsibilities
Project Phase
- Participate in the project to understand the Aberdeen iHub platform, Operations Target Operating model and processes
- Gain a deep knowledge and understanding of the iHub proposition and client requirements.
- Assisting the definition of operational processes and service KPIs.
- Test and monitor the performance of the iHub platform to ensure operational efficiency and security.
- Ensure Operational readiness ahead of Go-Live and manage the Early life support post go live of the iHub platform.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including Technology, Compliance and external vendors to ensure we deliver an E2E solution.
BAU Ongoing Operations
- Oversee ongoing operations of the platform and maintain seamless interactions with clients.
- Servicing our clients, manage and resolve distributor/third party queries efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with the Proposition team to drive ongoing enhancements and capabilities on the platform.
- Generate internal Management Information (MI) reports to track operational usage and performance.
- Providing assurance to clients that the platform is operating in line with expectations
- Supervise and liaise with third-party service providers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Oversight of daily cash and trade operations on platform.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness within wealth management processes, including streamlining workflows, automating tasks, or optimizing system configurations.
- Being responsible for the ongoing development of our operating model and the delivery of new capabilities to support new clients.
Skills and experience
- University degree or the equivalent in professional qualification
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in platform servicing and/or operations in the asset/wealth management industry.
- A good understanding of asset/wealth management business and products
- Self-motivated, dynamic and capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- A team player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills and a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Receptive to changes
