If yes, then you might be our new Regional Sales Manager to Telenor IoT.

This position reports to the Head of IoT Sales Sweden and will preferable be based either in Stockholm or Karlskrona. Your responsibility will be to grow Telenor IoT’s business with primary new customers but also within existing ones, both in volume and value. You will execute on company and regional strategies to achieve our ambitions within the IoT business in Sweden focusing on both standard-offering and large complex opportunities and bids. This is a very exciting business in a growing industry within a fantastic company, where IoT is on top of the agenda.

Key responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Acquire new potential medium & large customers and identify new business opportunities within existing customer base.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date, be comfortable constructing price proposals, presenting value propositions and negotiation contracts.
  • Proactively manage and optimize the sales pipeline to ensure alignment with sales targets.
  • Preparing, executing, and following up on customer meetings on a regular basis to explore new opportunities and promote the right solution based on the customer’s needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders - such as technical solution managers, vertical experts, bid managers and pricing managers to execute on our strategy.
  • Represent Telenor IoT in various events and exhibitions.

Required experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of B2B Sales, Inhouse sales or Key Account mgmt. within the telecommunication & IoT industry or embedded devices or hardware.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent university degree
  • Technical understanding in IoT connectivity is desired, as well as vertical connectivity knowledge such as Smart cities & utilities, Asset Management, e-health, Automotive and Transportation & Logistics.
  • A proven track record of closing new business or upselling and account development for existing accounts using a solution-based sales approach.
  • A demonstrated ability to translate a technical value proposition into business value.
  • Excellent communications skills, comfortable to hold presentations with customers.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
