About the Role & Program
Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research arm of The Walt Disney Company's (TWDC) Parks and Resorts business segment. Representing more than 150 disciplines, the talented corps of Imagineers are responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels, water parks, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, cruise ships and new media technology projects.
The WDI Technology Studio is looking for talented product managers to drive functions and workflows for our internally used Imagineering product portfolio.
What You Will Do
As a Product Manager Intern within the WDI Tech Studio you will have the opportunity to:• Drive product direction and implementation for aspects of the Imagineering platforms.• Advocate as the voice of the Imagineer, empathizing as a user-first Imagineer placing problem-solving before technology.• Draft product requirements, user research, user stories, mockups, visualizations, product memos, presentations, roadmaps, and other pertinent strategy materials.• Liaise with other product managers across the Walt Disney Company to identify opportunities for integration, lessons learned, and shared engagements.• Collaborate with peer leaders across software engineering, product design, project management, project technology integration, finance and legal.
Requirements & Skills• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and presentational.• Passion for solving problems within creative/entertainment cultures.• Eager to learn and work on internal technologies used by Imagineers (not consumer-facing).
Preferred Qualifications• Experience with 0-1 software development.• Background within BIM, content, media operations, gaming, VFX, or animation companies.• Experience with microservice ecosystems and component-based web apps.
Required Education• Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher from an accredited college/university, earning a degree majoring in computer science, computer engineering, media management or related experience.

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- • Be at least 18 years of age
- • Possess unrestricted work authorization
- • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $40 per hour.
