Department OverviewEnterprise Channel & Sales Operations focuses on developing and implementing an impactful and effective partner experience including program, tools and processes conducted when doing business with Motorola Solutions. As a result, this enables sales to achieve their short and long-term objectives. These relate to channel sales revenues, profit and market penetration.
Job Description
The VS&A International Sales Operations Forecast Manager is responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the VS&A International Sales team in terms of forecast processes, reporting and commission disputes. They will work closely with the International Sales Operations Manager and sales leadership to support forecasting and goal setting, contribute to the development of sales strategies through data-driven insights and assist with sales commission issues. They will develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility into sales performance, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Responsibilities include:

Driving sales forecasting and quota setting processes for the sales organization

Work closely with sales and finance teams to provide key inputs for the sales committed view

Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast sales, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

Support the implementation and tracking of incentive compensation plans, ensuring that compensation is aligned with performance and business goals

Accurately compute and process commission disputes for sales personnel, ensuring timely and correct disbursements

Work closely with sales, finance, and global compensation teams to resolve commission-related issues and enhance processes

Examine sales and commission data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement

Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.

Provide training and support to sales teams, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.

Manage ad hoc projects in order to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness
Basic Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Sales Operations with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 10+ years
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM – report and dashboard creation, knowledge of sales cycle and territory management.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets at advanced level as well as fluency in Google (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.)
- Experienced in Order and Revenue Forecasting models Understanding of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet PIVOT tables and basic functionality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, sales team members, and the IT team
- Ability to foster collaborative and effective working relationships to drive change and build consensus with cross-functional teams in the US and internationally
- Analytical and judgment skills necessary to identify cause-and-effect relationships and present recommendations and be able to present complex data in simple understandable format
- Effective time management, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Self-motivated and able to operate with limited direction in a fast-paced project-driven environment
- Experience with Slack a plus
