Job Description

The Vice President of Solution Engineering will play a pivotal role in driving the presales strategy and execution at CyberArk. This executive will lead multiple teams of solution engineers across various market segments, ensuring alignment with CyberArk's strategic objectives and commitment to delivering exceptional value to our customers. The VP will, with support from the GTM CoE, design visionary strategies that align to CyberArk’s company objectives and drive positive change within the SE Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Across Teams: Lead and manage multiple teams of solution engineers across various market segments. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and aligns with CyberArk’s commitment to being smart, bold, and humble in tackling complex challenges. Focus on developing strong front/second-line SE leaders, who can drive results.

Visionary Strategy Development: Collaborate with the GTM CoE to design and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Solution Engineering team that reflects CyberArk's values of customer first and what’s best for CyberArk. This includes understanding customer needs and ensuring that solutions are tailored to drive customer success.

Customer Solutions Architecture: Lead complex customer engagements by overseeing the design and architecture of comprehensive solutions that meet client specifications. Engage directly with customers to understand their unique challenges and demonstrate how CyberArk’s solutions can address their needs. Be a trusted expert by providing insightful guidance throughout the presales process for the team to follow.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on customer feedback and product enhancements. Promote a culture of continuous improvement that innovates by encouraging teams to push boundaries and explore new solutions.

Performance Metrics and Reporting: Continue the design of key performance indicators for the Solution Engineering team, regularly reporting on progress and outcomes to senior leadership. Ensure that all efforts are directed towards achieving organizational goals while maintaining high standards of integrity.

Training and Development: Invest in the professional growth of team members by providing training opportunities that enhance their skills and customer engagement capabilities, reinforcing the value of being smart, bold and humble.

By embodying these responsibilities and a drive to move fearlessly forward, the Vice President of Solution Engineering will play a pivotal role in advancing CyberArk's mission to secure identities globally while fostering a culture aligned with its core values.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years in presales or solution engineering roles within the cybersecurity or technology sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.

Strong understanding of identity security principles, privileged access management (PAM), and related technologies.

Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving successful outcomes in fast-paced environments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

The salary range for this position is $200,000 – $280,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
