VP, Risk System Engineer

The exchange team develops and maintain a cutting-edge trading platform. With a global presence across APAC, EMEA and North America, the team has since grown with the goal to provide a seamless and secure trading experience for our clients.

We are seeking an experienced risk system engineer to join our risk department, which help manage the risk across Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA) Exchange and Clearing business. 

Responsibilities

· Contribute to the design and implementation of the enterprise risk system and databases for the exchange and clearing house, including risk models, risk engines, and related risk applications;

· Optimize code implementation for core algorithms and pricing functions;

· Collaborate closely with risk quants, risk managers, IT operations, and security teams to build and support the risk system;

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, legal, finance, compliance, and technology, to define requirements for both upstream and downstream systems for new product launch and clients onboarding.

Requirements

· 10+ years of experience in enterprise system design and development in the financial sector;

· Direct experience in enterprise risk system design and development;

· Solid knowledge in Kafka messaging, AWS cloud computing and Kubernetes;

· Proficient skills in Python, SQL and GitHub;

· Knowledge in Click house and Postgres database management is a plus;

· Basic product knowledge in derivatives including Futures, Options and Swaps;

· Strong oral communication and documentation skills;

· Ability to work under their own initiative, in support of a strategic end goal;

· Enthusiastic about both emerging crypto innovations and conventional finance;
