PartySlate continues to disrupt the 800 billion dollar events industry with innovative technology solutions for both people planning events and venues and vendors within the events industry. PartySlate is based in Chicago with talent spread out all across the country, and we are looking to grow our team with passionate, collaborative individuals.

We are a venture-backed, post-Series A company with a clear vision to become the digital home for event professionals. As we expand our platform beyond discovery into professional tools, we’re building scalable SaaS products.

About the VP Product Opportunity

We’re hiring a VP Product to lead our product and product design teams. This executive will own the product vision, roadmap, and user experience across both our marketplace and our new SaaS tools. The ideal candidate combines technical fluency, customer obsession, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to launch and scale new products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product and design teams, reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the executive team
• Own and evolve the product strategy and roadmap across consumer and pro experiences
• Drive the launch and optimization of new tools, including PartySlate Pro and AI-powered features
• Build dashboards and KPIs to track performance and guide prioritization
• Foster strong cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring company-wide clarity on product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market plans.
• Bring a customer-first mindset — walking in the shoes of our event pros and end users
• Ensure high-quality UX by championing design-forward, intuitive product experiences
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and Engineering teams to ensure seamless alignment between product strategy and technical execution.

Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record in SaaS product leadership roles, ideally serving SMB markets.
• Comfortable with product analytics and building dashboards to guide decisions
• Technically fluent — able to collaborate with engineers, but does not oversee tech
• Exceptional cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment skills
• Chicago-based

Bonus Points

• Previous experience in SMB SaaS, marketplace-driven SaaS companies, or businesses serving event professionals and venues is a plus.
• Passion for events or helping small businesses grow
• Skilled in fostering product alignment and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
