About the role...

As our first product hire, the VP of Product will be instrumental in defining the strategic vision and product roadmap for ShopMy. As a member of the leadership team, this is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires a top-notch product leader with a proven track record of building and scaling digital products in dynamic environments. You’ll have the opportunity to lay the foundation for our product team, work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales, and drive user-centric innovations that will propel our company to the next stage.

Roles and responsibilities…

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and execute a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with ShopMy’s goals, ensuring a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Roadmap Development: Build and prioritize a strategic product roadmap with a focus on user experience, scalability, and long-term growth, continuously iterating based on feedback and business needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and client-facing teams to bring product ideas to life, ensuring alignment across departments and effective implementation of product initiatives.
  • Team Building & Leadership: Lay the groundwork for a future product team, identifying key roles and recruiting top talent to help scale product capabilities as ShopMy grows.
  • User Experience Focus: Champion a user-centric approach, leveraging data, customer feedback, and industry insights to deliver innovative features that enhance the value ShopMy offers to brands and creators.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure product success, continuously monitor performance, and make data-informed adjustments to achieve business outcomes.

Your qualifications….

  • Proven Experience: 7+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years in leadership roles, ideally in a high-growth tech startup or SaaS environment.
  • Visionary Leadership: Demonstrated ability to set and execute on a product vision, with a strategic mindset and a passion for solving complex problems.
  • User-Centric Mindset: Strong focus on delivering exceptional user experiences with an aptitude for understanding customer needs and translating them into impactful product features.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to inform product decisions and track performance metrics.
  • Collaborative: Excellent cross-functional skills, with a history of working closely with engineering, design, and other teams to achieve product success.
  • Executional Excellence: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

New York Pay Range

$195,000$250,000 USD
