VP, Procurement
About the Role:
As VP, Procurement, you will lead the strategy and execution of procurement initiatives across the company, focusing on optimizing supplier relationships, driving cost savings, and supporting cross-functional priorities. This is a highly strategic individual contributor role that requires deep expertise in sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, and process improvement. You will work closely with senior leadership to align procurement activities with business objectives and ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy, policies, and processes for the organization.

Lead high-value negotiations with key suppliers to ensure favorable terms, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, Technology, and other departments to align procurement with company goals.

Assess, select, and manage vendors and suppliers, including performance monitoring and risk mitigation.

Analyze spend data and identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
-
Establish procurement metrics and reporting to track performance and demonstrate impact.

Lead initiatives related to procurement systems, automation, and digital transformation.

Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, supplier landscapes, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and innovation.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum 20 years of progressive procurement or strategic sourcing experience, with a demonstrated track record in enterprise-level procurement strategy and execution.

Experience working in a healthcare, technology, or highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.

Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Deep knowledge of procurement best practices, tools, and technologies.
