Position Summary

The VP of Marketing, EMEA, will create the overall marketing strategy and plan to drive new logo acquisition and customer expansion by generating pipeline and programs to take clients and prospects on a journey to closed/won. As an active part of the EMEA Leadership Team, this person will help drive regional growth, building upon the Company’s strengths in existing markets as well as establishing Rimini Street expansion into new markets in conjunction with the global marketing team to extend and localize global programs.

This position will direct and manage a field marketing team across our active markets in EMEA, and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a marketing function across EMEA with experience in one or more of the countries where we operate, and highly capable of operating in a matrixed organization, balancing the needs of both Corporate and Regional parties. Success in this role will require the ability to both think strategically execute locally, both individually and through the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Attract, develop, coach, and build a remote and high performing marketing team
  • Create an inclusive, dynamic working environment that motivates the team and creates a path for growth
  • Keep up to date on market trends & competitor strategies
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across a wide range of departments from Marketing, Revenue Teams, Global Client Engagement, Product and Global Operations

Demand Generation & Pipeline

  • Design, plan and execute and measure effective lead generation campaigns to fuel pipeline growth focusing on net new, acquisition and industry
  • Develop and execute an integrated multi touch, multi-channel marketing strategy and plan across the EMEA region focused on the correct target segments with the most effective messaging and CTAs to reach decision makers in the region
  • Ensure Rimini Street and 3rd party events are on brand and on message, well executed, promotes the brand, and generate leads
  • Developing an executive level program that include, executive networking events, roundtables, and integrated programs
  • Develop in region client stories

Track & Measure

  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to implement metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
  • Conduct regular regional marketing and sales reviews – present impact of marketing efforts on sales pipeline, identify gaps in strategy, and revise marketing strategies to fill gaps
  • Forecast, and be accountable, for quarterly MQL targets
  • Generate and achieve marketing created pipeline targets for each region in EMEA
  • Manage and review the marketing budget with a disciplined focus on the key outcomes for your regions

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications required, or equivalent professional experience
  • Master’s in marketing or business preferred

Location

  • Remote - U.K.

Experience  

  • 15+ years of B2B software or SaaS product marketing experience

Solid integrated marketing function mastery, excellent leadership and influencing skills, strong project management and people management skills, especially around promoting cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment, while driving a discipline of data-driven marketing ROI tracking and measurement.

  • Strong executive presence, solid track record of strategic accomplishments in companies experiencing rapid growth and expansion where constant challenges are the norm.
  • Extensive experience running marketing at a high-tech company within EMEA
  • Expertise across marketing, including demand generation, client acquisition, industry marketing, digital marketing & performance marketing
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey Rimini Street offerings and value propositions in a clear manner through written and verbal means
  • A self-motivated strategic thinker, a problem solver, and enjoys executing autonomously in a hands-on manner
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of senior management and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrix environment
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with revenue organizations
  • Demonstrable experience of building and motivating high-functioning remote teams
  • Ability to lead across cross-functional teams, ability to multi-task and proactively manage expectations of regional leadership team and collaborating with corporate marketing
  • Cheerful with an attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight timelines
