About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Financial Partnerships to lead and expand our relationships with key financial partners—including banks, card networks, and other payment ecosystem players. This executive-level role is instrumental in driving our commercial agenda and delivering scalable financial outcomes through innovative, long-term partnerships.

As a key member of our Commercial team, you will define and execute a forward-looking partnership strategy that enhances our market position and unlocks new growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Leadership

  • Own and expand relationships with global card networks, issuing and acquiring banks, PSPs, and fintech partners.
  • Define, develop, and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Negotiate complex commercial and product-driven agreements that create long-term value.

Business Impact & Financial Growth

  • Drive high-impact initiatives that deliver measurable business results—balancing commercial opportunity with product and operational feasibility.
  • Monitor financial performance and use data to optimize partner relationships and guide executive decision-making.

Product & Commercial Alignment

  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams to align partner strategy with go-to-market efforts and product innovation.
  • Provide market insights and partner feedback that shape product roadmap and commercialization priorities.,

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic partnership goals.
  • Ensure clear internal alignment and accountability across multiple departments and regions.

Innovation & Market Expansion

  • Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities, joint ventures, or co-branded solutions with financial partners.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and maintain deep expertise in the evolving payments landscape.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or financial services—ideally in the payments ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of owning and growing relationships with card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.), banks, and/or large-scale financial institutions.
  • Strong negotiation and contract development skills with a history of delivering successful commercial outcomes.
  • Exceptional executive communication, relationship management, and influencing abilities.
  • Experience working across complex, matrixed organizations and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem, fintech innovations, and commercial strategy across international or global markets
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
