CVS Health is recruiting for a VP, Digital Engineering. This role will oversee all digital solutions and platforms for all PS/Caremark digital engineering needs. It will lead all engineering across Caremark.Com, Caremark Mobile App, Caremark functionality in SuperApp, Client SDK and Client White Labeling digital solutions. This will be a highly technical leadership role where this leader would not only manage the teams delivering the new features and capabilities but also guide the teams on the architectural direction and digital best practices to future proof the solutions being created and allow Caremark digital solution to be recognized as industry leading solutions with high NPS and CSAT scores.
You will make an impact by:
- Responsible for delivering all Caremark related functionality for the CVS Health SuperApp and ensuring that it is fully integrated and creates the seamless, cross line of business experience we are looking to execute against as part of our customer experience strategy. These will be native IOS and Android based solutions built for mobile applications and fully integrated into CVS Health SuperApp.
- Oversee all development of new functionality and as well as maintenance and support of Caremark.com, Client Software Development Kit (SDK), Client White Label sites (client branded sites) and the current Caremark Mobile IOS and Android App. This includes functionality for Drug Search and Pricing, Plan and Financial Summaries, Prior Authorizations, Pharmacy Locator, and other Caremark related functionality.
- Work closely with other AVP and VP level DDAT resources in both HCB and PCW to help drive the future architectural solutions needed to ensure capabilities built across Business Units will still integrate and work together over time. Will require strong digital engineering skills and strong communication and influencing skills to ensure a cost-effective technology platform evolves as the product needs evolve for the business and Caremark’s needs are represented and accounted for.
- Manage and support a large team of roughly ~150 resources. Accountable for creating a culture of nimble, agile, and product-based resources and help lead the change for existing tenured resources so they get comfortable with the change to product delivery methodologies we are moving to in CVS.
- Tracking and adhering to all financial, operational, and other OKRs/Goals setup for FY25 within his tower and across towers for all RunOps related metrics
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in digital software development and engineering
- 10+ years overall in Technology leadership position, including managing financials, goals and operational metrics
- Experience leading multiple teams of 100+ resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effectively communicate key messages to executive leaders and internal/external stake holders.
- Experience with Angular development tools. Specificially within digital experience based technologies (website, portals, etc).
- Experience supporting digital platforms with large daily visitors (1M+ visits per day).
- Experience managing vendor partners that perform RunOps responsibilities within a large technology organization. Supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 responsbilities as well as managing all escalations queues in RunOps organization around digital platforms.
- Experience managing and executing large-scale technology and digital project efforts in large organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience leading and deploy mobile applications (native IOS and Andriod apps).
- Experience with GenAI chatbots and different technologies to support engaging customers with GenAI in mobile and digital technologies.
- Knowledge of digital strategies, including customer acquisition, retention, and engagement tactics to drive up digital adoption.
- Leader who embraces change and can effectively lead others through it, specifically around support resources thru delivery methodology changes.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required
