JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President – Sales of Arch Mortgage Funding will be responsible for sourcing Non-QM and non-Agency production while maintaining effective relationships with US mortgage insurance sales infrastructure, seller/lender and fulfillment vendors. The constituent must be well versed in the US residential lending mortgage market. Non-QM and non-Agency experience from the sales, training and client on-boarding perspective preferred.
This role is open to remote candidates, with a strong preference for those in the EST or CST time zone. Travel may be be up to 50%.
Essential RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Communicate the Company’s production goals and initiatives to US Mortgage Insurance executive and field management.
2. Responsible for meeting AMF sales goals individually, as well as the overall AMF sales team goals.
3. Oversee and assist fulfillment provider on seller training initiatives.
4. Manage seller expectations for counterparty review turn times and communicate with seller and vendor as required to effectuate results.
5. Maintain current competitive knowledge of the Non-QM and non-Agency mortgage lending space and work with management to adjust initiatives as necessary.
6. Collaborate with Arch marketing, operations and pricing to manage production effectively and within the risk tolerances of AMF.
7. Create, present and implement business development initiatives.
8. Represent AMF at industry events and conferences as applicable.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge & Skills:
1. Knowledge of US residential mortgage lending business with deep understanding of the Non-QM and non-Agency markets.
2. Understanding of the mortgage business food chain from origination to securitization with focus on Seller business acquisition process, product rollout and points of influence.
3. Successful incumbent will be individual that is energized by a start-up environment and enjoys conquering new challenges daily.
4. Customer focused with ability to communicate effectively with C-suite Seller executives.
5. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
6. Must be able to travel as required.
7. Effective issue identification and resolution.
8. Strong relationship building skills.
Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or related field preferred.
2. Minimum 15 years experience in mortgage lending sales functions with non-QM and non-Agency lending knowledge.
