Job Overview:
This position serves as the "face" of Advisory Consulting Services to advisors in the field. The primary objective of the employee in this role will be to facilitate, educate, coach, and train advisors and their staffs on the benefits of LPL’s advisory/fee-based platforms, with the goal of increasing advisors’ acceptance, usage, and effectiveness with advisory solutions. The primary means of measurement as to the effectiveness of the employee will be increased advisory platform adoption, penetration and sales.
Responsibilities:

Increase advisory sales across a broad based territory comprised of LPL advisors within multiple channels (IAR, RIA).

Meet sales objectives for the assigned territory.

Travel within the assigned territory a potential minimum of 2 days per week.

Hold a minimum of 16 meetings per week with advisors, sponsors, and recruits.
-
Leverage sponsor partners in the field to bring value added education to advisors in the form of small group workshops on topics ranging from practice management, business development, and investment related themes.

Represent the outlook and themes of LPL Research in the field.

Partner with internal LPL business units such as Business Consulting and Business Development.

Manage a territory travel and entertainment budget

Work with internal partners (dedicated internal advisory consultant and internal product specialist) to develop strategies that will lead to increased advisory sales for advisors.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (focus in: Finance, Economics, Marketing or other business related field desired)

5 + years (focus in: Financial Services, Wholesaling, Financial Advisor, Recruiting)
-
FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66
-
Ability to travel within the territory on a weekly basis.
Preferences:

MBA/CFP/CFA/CIMA

Microsoft Office experience

Salesforce CRM experience will be helpful
Pay Range:
$158,400.00 - $264,000.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
