Where would you fit?
You will work closely with marketing and product delivery teams and engineers to help make usable, accessible and delightful products that parents, children and our community love. The team also consists of a Lead UX Designer and 2 Product Designers.
You will report to Design Lead, Kit.
Role overview
As visual + motion Designer at Kit, you will play a key role in the crafting of usable, accessible and delightful digital experiences end-to-end that will impact children’s financial capability. This role will have a focus on supporting our education team to deliver educational content, but will also support delivery across the entire app, website and marketing creative.
Your role includes responsibility for:

Visual and motion design for our app, website and marketing channels

Delivering both conceptual and refined designs working within a cross-functional team

Contributing to Kit’s design system

Ensuring that the brand is brought to life in the digital experience
Key responsibilities

Craft the visual prompts to bring our educational stories to life.

Produce the initial, proof of concept illustrations and prototypes through to refined illustrations and screen compositions using vector tools (Illustrator / Figma).

Character rigging in Rive
-
Work closely with our learning designer to visualise the story and compose the experience on device.

Assist with marketing creative and production.

Help grow the visual identity of Kit as a product, actively contribute to and evolve the Kit design system.

Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.

Provide constructive feedback to peers, and clear rationale for your own work to gain support from stakeholders.
Experience
-
Strong focus on visual design and illustration skills
-
Motion design experience ideal and character rigging with Rive desirable
-
You can prioritise the customer above all else
-
Experience within a start-up & lean environment – ability to be hands on and move quickly will be essential

Desirable - Previous design in products for children and/or families and/or fintech.
