Job Description:
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

A VIE within our department "Sales Germany" has arisen within Airbus Secure Land Communications GmbH in Berlin or Sulzbach (Taunus) near to Frankfurt am Main.
Germany’s capital Berlin is considered a global city of politics, media and science. Berlin offers beautiful sights, a rich culture, urban flair and culinary delights. But Berlin has also for nature lovers a lot to offer: in addition to extensive forest areas in the west and southeast of the city, Berlin has many large parks.
Sulzbach (Taunus) is about 15km away from Frankfurt am Main and is an up-and-coming community with a wide range of leisure and cultural offerings. Here you can enjoy the quality of life in the countryside, while the nearby big cities are still easy to reach.
The contract duration of VIE is 12 months with starting date from February/March 2025.

Tasks & accountabilities:
Your main task will include:
- Sales support: Assisting senior account manager with sales activities and potentially handling smaller accounts independently.
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports on account performance and client interactions.
- Product knowledge: Developing a thorough understanding of Airbus Public Safety and Security products and services to better serve clients.
- Administrative tasks: Handling paperwork, data entry and other administrative duties related to account management.
- Market research: Staying informed about industry trends and McX competitor activities.
- Internal collaboration: Working with other departments to meet client needs and resolve issues.
Required Skills:
- Graduated in a technical or commercial field
- First experience in Sales is an advantage
- Proficiency in relevant software, e.g. CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
- Strong affinity to complex technologies
In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:
- Clear verbal and written communication, excellent presentation skills
- Ability to juggle multiple clients and tasks, meeting deadlines and setting priorities
- Collaboration skills with different departments (sales, business analysts, tech. support, legal)
- Analytical skills, e.g. data interpretation, basic financial understanding
- You are able to negotiate in English, an advanced level in German is a plus
