The Role 

This role supports our UK Revenue teams as part of the Commercial Team. You will collaborate with global and local sales teams to promote and sell our video proposition while building new agency relationships and securing new business opportunities for Condé Nast Video. A key focus will be engaging with Agency VOD, TV, and Digital buying teams - both new and existing - to enhance the visibility and reputation of Condé Nast’s video offering across all sector categories, brands, and distribution platforms. The ideal candidate will have proven video media sales experience, bringing strong pre-existing agency relationships to the role. Success will be measured by your ability to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities across all brand categories while working closely with the UK DMS team to implement and report on deals and performance. We are looking for a self-motivated professional with experience in planning and forecasting their own sales pipeline, ensuring they meet and exceed agreed targets.

What will you be doing? 

  • Selling Condé Nast’s certified Video proposition across the UK market and educating both agencies and teams internally.

  • Responsible for negotiating on pricing, delivery and selling of all pre-roll to maximise revenue each month across both direct & programmatic deals - This will also involve following through the lifespan of the sale, from negotiating the terms of an agreement through to sign-off and working without Digital and Campaign Management teams on set up and delivery.

  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of saleable video formats and media options across CNB platforms and distribution partners.

  • Acting as an ambassador for the Condé Nast Revenue team, demonstrating your knowledge and experience to agencies and clients.

  • Working closely with relevant teams to book campaigns into internal systems for delivery, forecasting and monthly reporting.

  • Confident in proactively reaching out via calls and emails to engage clients and agencies, securing meetings, and identifying new business opportunities.

  • Keeping abreast of competitor press and agency developments. 

  • Gathering market and customer information. 

Who you are: 

  • Strong, proven experience in video sales/account management, preferably in online VOD advertising and the TV market.

  • Proven sales success and the ability to generate revenue.

  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritise work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Thorough understanding of the online advertising industry.

  • Strong networker with a proactive, customer-focused, and entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Strong attention to detail and desire to excel at agencies & client relationships.

  • Knowledge of the media industry and a passion for our brands.
