Zendesk is looking for a Video Editor to help deliver beautifully crafted, engaging creative for our billion-dollar company. You’ll work as a mighty creative champion, making sure our work is easy to understand, confident, generous, and mega fresh.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about their craft, excited to develop new ideas, and ready to work on projects that directly impact the business. You’ll be a member of our Studio Team: a friendly and down-to-earth group of skilled copywriters, filmmakers, producers, animators, audio experts, and designers.

The day-to-day:

Edit on a broad range of multi-format, collaborative projects, with deliverables spanning brand identity, social campaigns, customer and product marketing, and event content.

Partner with the Studio Team to create videos that engage, inspire, and connect with our audience.

Lead on smaller projects with autonomy and confidence, presenting your work back to senior creatives and stakeholders.

Maintain documentation on workflow processes and best practices guidelines.
Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a video editor working in creative marketing and/or advertising; agency experience or working on an in-house creative team is a plus, but not required

Strong concepting and ideation skills, keeping on top of trends across the industry

Proficiency with Adobe Premiere; some After Effects and color correction skills are a plus

Strong collaborator with other disciplines across the organization

Comfortable presenting to stakeholders, defending decisions, and incorporating feedback

A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of storytelling — including pacing and flow, strong composition, and eye trace

Firm grasp of narrative and visual language and the capacity to distill abstract concepts

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Please note that anyone hired into this position must be physically located in and plan to work from Mexico City (CDMX) or Mexico State (Estado de Mexico).
Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
