About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team and contribute to the production of instructional tutorial videos and demos for our Motive products. As a Video Editor, you will collaborate closely with the video team to create customer-facing content on the Motive Help Center and other product areas that helps our users understand our products effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creative skills and contribute to enhancing the user experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Video Editor / Video Producer to understand project requirements and objectives for instructional tutorial videos and demos.
  • Edit and assemble recorded footage into high-quality, visually appealing videos that effectively communicate product features and instructions.
  • Enhance video and audio quality using editing software and tools.
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects as needed to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and professional look and feel.
  • Submit work to manager and peers for feedback
  • Assist with script revisions, voice-over recordings, and other pre-production tasks as necessary.
  • Manage and organize video assets, maintaining a well-structured file system.
  • Ensure timely completion of video projects while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing and post-production.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven work experience of at least 3 years as Video Editor, or similar role creating video content (Portfolio required)
  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effect, Adobe Audition and Camtasia) and related tools.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Willing to accept feedback on videos from peers
  • Proven ability to create consistent video tutorials for products (Examples required)
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects.
