As Video Content Creator you’ll take the lead in producing, creating, editing and optimizing video content that communicates Cobot’s vision to customers, partners, investors, and the world. Your expertise in motion graphics, editing, and video distribution will ensure our messaging remains engaging, dynamic, and impactful.

We’re seeking a Video Content Creator who specializes in video and social media, ensuring a steady and consistent flow of compelling video content across multiple platforms. This role will be responsible for shaping our visual narrative and increasing audience engagement through high-quality, high-impact storytelling.

This role is located in our Santa Clara, CA office onsite. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end video production process, from concept development, filming, and editing to motion graphics and final post-production.
  • Craft visually compelling content across interviews, product demos, social media, YouTube, virtual and in-person events, and presentation materials.
  • Edit and enhance video storytelling using motion graphics, lower thirds, color grading, transitions, and dynamic visual elements to elevate brand storytelling.
  • Oversee all aspects of post-production, including audio mixing, color correction, motion graphics, and quality control, ensuring a polished, professional final product.
  • Optimize video content for digital platforms, tailoring content for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, web, and other social channels.
  • Capture on-location content, requiring travel to company offices, customer and partner sites, and industry events to document robotics in real-world settings.
  • Cultivate a network of top-tier contract videographers, editors, and creative professionals to scale content production as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an organized video library, ensuring assets are easily accessible and repurposable for future content needs.
  • Contribute to additional creative projects, leveraging your expertise in visual storytelling, design, or emerging media to support broader initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating new creative techniques, video tools, and emerging storytelling formats to keep Cobot’s video content fresh and innovative.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics with at least one of those years working with a tech, hardware, robotics, or startup company.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and adjacent tools.
  • Experience crafting high-quality video content for social media as well as across additional formats (product demos, interviews, events, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of color grading, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Ability to travel as needed for on-location shoots at events, company offices, and customer sites.
  • Strong eye for aesthetics and detail, ensuring a consistent and premium visual style.
  • Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing, moving quickly and with confidence. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience capturing and editing event content, live footage, and multi-use video assets.
  • Familiarity with social media video trends, audience engagement strategies, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in product visualization, CGI to elevate product storytelling.

The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the noted geographic area. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
