Nexstar Media Inc., America’s largest local broadcasting company, is seeking a Vice President and General Manager to lead its media properties in Erie, Pennsylvania (DMA #154). The General Manager will have full oversight of Nexstar’s operations at WJET (ABC) and will oversee WFXP (FOX) through a time brokerage agreement with Mission Broadcasting, as well as yourerie.com and all other digital, mobile and social media assets for the stations.

The successful candidate will have five years of broadcast leadership experience with a successful track record in leading sales driven organizations and developing revenue across multiple platforms, as well as providing leadership by developing department heads and promoting teamwork within all station departments.
In addition, a track record of success in maintaining a focus on the bottom line, and a broad range of programming experience with an emphasis on localism is essential.
