Job Overview:

As the Vice President, Strategy and Product you will be responsible for developing, evolving and operationalizing strategic plans and roadmaps for the full suite of offerings within Business and Lifecycle Solutions, thus ensuring optimal client outcomes and driving revenue growth and monetization for the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identification, Design and Development of New Capital Offerings: This includes identifying market opportunities, defining value propositions, and creating strategic plans to capture market share as well as executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies aimed at driving revenue growth.  
  • Diagnostic Tool / Guided Journey for Advisor Solutions: Lead the development and implementation of diagnostic tools and guided journeys that help advisors navigate our solutions. This involves working closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to build effective tools.
  • Architecting the Journey: Design and oversee the client journey from initial engagement through to long-term relationship management. This includes mapping out touchpoints, ensuring seamless transitions, and optimizing the overall client experience.
  • Client-Centric and Consultative Approach: Foster a client-centric culture within the team, ensuring that all strategies and solutions are designed with the client's needs in mind. Provide consultative support to clients, helping them achieve their business goals through our solutions.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Understand key problems facing the organization by engaging with stakeholders and structuring analyses that leverage quantitative and qualitative data sets to yield options for resolving top strategic problems.
  • Maintain Perspective: Maintain a perspective and point of view on key challenges facing the business to inform innovative solutions through research and analysis.
  • Lead Project Teams: Lead small project teams and structure and oversee bodies of work for junior team members to deliver, providing mentoring and feedback to support their career progression.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or corporate development roles.
  • MBA or an advanced business degree and financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to structure and scope problems, determine analytical approaches, and identify solutions.
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to communicate, present, build consensus, and influence at an executive level.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, with the ability to build visually compelling presentations for executives.
  • Must be within commuting distance to San Diego, CA or Fort Mill, SC office; role can be full-time office-based or hybrid

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across levels of an organization and mentor junior team members.

Preferences:

  • Experience in financial services or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and guided journeys for advisor solutions.


 

Pay Range:

$136,700-$227,900/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
