Available Location: Alpharetta, GA  

Hybrid Working: In this role, you will split your time between working at the designated company office in Alpharetta, GA for a minimum of 3 days per week and will work remotely from your home address up to 2 days per week. Any changes to these work locations must follow the appropriate process as outlined in our handbook. 

What You'll Do: 

As the Vice President of Product Management, you will shape and execute the long-term strategic vision for Ministry Brands' growing portfolio, which currently includes church management, payments, and safety solutions. Leading a team of product managers and  designers, you'll establish product direction, prioritize strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of innovation. You'll spearhead the integration of artificial intelligence capabilities across our product suite to revolutionize how purpose-driven organizations operate and engage with their communities. 

You'll partner with executive leadership to align product strategy with business objectives while orchestrating cross-functional collaboration between engineering, sales, and operations teams. Your strategic leadership will be crucial in evolving our product portfolio through innovation and acquisition, and maintaining our position as a leading technology provider for faith-based and non-profit organizations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the complete product lifecycle from strategy to execution, including market research, product roadmap development, and go-to-market planning for Ministry Brands' suite of church management, payments, non-profit, and background screening solutions 

  • Drive product vision and strategy aligned with market needs and company objectives, collaborating closely with software engineering, sales, and customer success teams 

  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities for AI-driven product innovation and growth 

  • Oversee the integration of payment processing features and ensure compliance with payments industry standards 

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers product owners, and product designers, fostering a culture of innovation and customer focus 

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps based on customer feedback, market analysis, and strategic business goals 

  • Guide cross-functional teams through agile development processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product releases 

  • Own and manage product deliverables by working with R&D teams to understand dependencies, define and communicate timelines, and ensure commitments are being met 

  • Lead a data-driven product culture by designing, defining, and communicating clear KPIs, tracking them, and measuring them against commitments 

  • Create and maintain product documentation, including requirements, specifications, and feature descriptions 

  • Present product strategy and updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders 

Who You Are: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience 

  • 10+ years of product management experience in SaaS environments, with 5+ years of experience leading and scaling product teams 

  • Strong technology background. Experience in church management software, non-profit software, payment processing, or financial technology, preferred 

  • Demonstrated experience implementing artificial intelligence to accelerate velocity across the entire  product development lifecycle, including customer feedback, PRD/MRDs, Development, QA, Release Management, and Support. 

  • You have the ability to relentlessly prioritize, balance product needs with business goals, understand trade-offs throughout the product life cycle, manage conflict, and articulate the “why” behind product decisions  

  • Expert in product management tools (Azure DevOps, Confluence, Aha!, ProductPlan) and analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel) 

  • Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences 

  • Passionate about empowering faith-based organizations through technology solutions 

 

Physical Considerations: 

  • Ability to work in a general office environment 

  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone 

Travel Considerations: 

  • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 25%
