Lead and inspire a high-achieving team of Directors, globally distributed Software/QA engineers and DevOps Engineers while driving excellence and fostering a collaborative environment.

Partner with the executive team to develop and implement pre-sales strategies that align with GlobalPayments broader business goals.

Solution Development, Delivery of Platforms & Customer Engagement:

Contribute to the technical roadmap, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high-performance standards.

Ensure project deadlines and milestones are met by implementing efficient project management processes and removing roadblocks.

Drive operational excellence through process improvements, KPI tracking, and data-driven decision-making.

Oversee the creation of standardized demos, proof of concepts (POCs), and Centers of Excellence that showcase innovative solutions.

Engage directly with key product leadership, cross-functional groups and clients to understand their needs, tailoring pre-sales activities to address their specific challenges and objectives.

DevOps COE:

Lead DevOps COE (Center of Excellence) function that acts as a horizontal across a portfolio of platforms and standardize best practices, tools, benchmarking of metric and effective utilization of resourcing across the portfolio.

Define and execute the DevOps vision and strategy in alignment with business goals, championing best practices in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation.

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps engineering team; provide career development and training to enhance team skills

Implement DevSecOps practices and security measures; ensure infrastructure and processes meet compliance standards and mitigate security risks.

Ensure the implementation of effective monitoring and alerting tools; lead incident management and root cause analysis processes to resolve issues swiftly

Metric based Evaluation:

Evolve product usage metrics strategy and ensure metrics are communicated and understood by all internal stakeholders, Manage and evaluate external accounts through performance tracking and relationship cultivation in an effort to grow each account’s business

Requirements:

Educational Background:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Leadership Experience:

Proven experience in a leadership role within engineering groups, with a focus on managing Solutions Engineers and DevOps functions
-
15+ years of experience in Software Engineering and DevOps, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Experience leading a globally distributed organization.

Experienced in effectively assessing, selecting and developing talent; adept at providing balanced, direct and actionable feedback to team members. Experience managing multiple priorities and overseeing distinct teams with varied strengths.

Thrives on initiating, building and cultivating strong, authentic relationships inside and outside the team; highly collaborative; navigates and activates alignment across organizational boundaries.

Technical Skills:

Robust background in programming and hands-on experience in developing demos and POCs.

Experience in the DevOps sector and a strong ability to keep up with industry trends.
