Reporting directly to the Chief Card Services Officer, the Vice President, Credit Card Portfolio Management is responsible to deliver the targeted growth on the MasterCard and all credit cards portfolio as well as for the strategies, the development and execution. Along with:
- Achievement of growth targets and profitability threshold on all credit cards portfolios.
- Fostering strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all the team’s efficient operations, success, balanced and efficient omni channel acquisition growth, and partners satisfaction (current and new).
- Seizing and developing new credit cards opportunity.
- Keeping a network and knowledge of the current credit cards market, trends, performances and competitors.
- The person will lead a team of Directors and other professionals, which are focused on optimizing results (volume and profitability) from the existing and new partners.
- The Vice President will also be responsible for developing strategies in an omni channel acquisition environment with different key partners for all the MasterCard products, he or she will stay abreast of innovative acquisition solutions and influence alternate solutions to profitably accelerate acquisitions growth, compliant sales practices and proactively mitigate risk.
Accountabilities
- Position that deals with senior levels (CEO, CFO and senior executives)
- Responsible for driving the overall credit cards sales and receivables of billions of dollars
- Major focus on growth and profitability of the credit cards business line
- Decisions taken has a major impact on the overall corporate results
- Owns and responsible of the pricing offers and the profitability of every key account and the credit cards product line
- Responsible of an important budget for the cards business line
- Will be leading and be an acting voting member in management and executive committees with key partners
- Have outstanding relationship management skills with the ability to thrive in a highly matrixed company structure
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership, partnership, and creative problem solving with the ability to influence and to take decisions
- Effectively manage multiple complex initiatives and deliverables at the same time by being pro-active, action-oriented and results driven with the ability to prioritize in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills across varying seniority levels internally and externally

- Leverage data, reporting and a knowledge of the partner and competitive environment to understand business challenges, clearly identify new opportunities and gaps and work with internal stakeholders to develop and implement growth and/or operational efficiency driven acquisition solutions with a sense of urgency
- Constantly represent Duo Bank/Fairstone, its values and leadership principles to the highest standards internally and externally
- Keep updated on market and competitive acquisition activities and solutions in the industry
- Motivate the management team to achieve objectives by conducting performance appraisals, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration and MBA.
- Ten (10) years’ experience in sales and business development.
- Experience in the credit cards industry (VISA, MasterCard).
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience leading a senior team.
- Previous experience successfully leading acquisition strategy and execution in a credit card issuing environment is necessary, experience with major retail partnerships, co brand retail card issuance or Retail operations is also necessary
