JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a great opportunity for a Vice President of Commerce Partnerships!  The Vice President of Commerce Partnerships will lead the Strategic Initiatives team and will drive new revenue via partnerships primarily via content on FoxNews.com. Responsibilities of the role will include setting the overall revenue and partner strategy and priorities.

The Vice President of Commerce Partnerships will report to the SVP of Business Development.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead commerce partnerships and revenue as a subject matter expert for Fox

  • Operationalizing and executing partnership strategy in order to aggressively grow revenue and meet ambitious targets

  • Evaluate, optimize, negotiate and seek out commerce affiliate partnerships that maximize revenue

  • Seek out exclusive deal and product opportunities via partners

  • Working with external partners to power new commerce revenue streams

  • Working with commerce publishing team to connect revenue data to content insights, establishing best practices to drive higher revenue via content creation

  • Determine best practices for commerce initiative based on industry intelligence balanced with company attributes

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 15+  years relevant work experience

  • Passion and expertise in commerce required (including past experience with publisher commerce)

  • Previous experience overseeing a team

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and business savvy

  • Ability to execute and grow a new business

  • Sound business acumen and ability to interpret data

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholder groups

  • Ability to think creatively and try new things (and to quickly gauge success or failure)

  • Ability to multi-task proficiency, bringing multiple complex projects to fruition simultaneously

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $222,500.00-280,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $185,400.00-233,300.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
