Job Description
Position Overview: The Vice President of Business Operations will oversee and optimize the company's operational processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and process improvement. The VP of Business Operations will work closely with the executive team to drive operational excellence and support the company's growth objectives.
The Day to Day (Responsibilities):

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Lead and mentor a team of operations managers and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Collaborate with the executive team to set performance goals and align operational activities with the company's strategic objectives.

Manage the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Ensure effective resource allocation and capacity planning to meet production demands.

Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost control and financial performance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
Must Haves (minimum qualifications):

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large-scale operations in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of supply chain management, process improvement methodologies, and operational best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.

Proficiency in using ERP systems and other operational management tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 8 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
Salary Ranges$270,000.06 - $346,000.01
Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
