Job Description
The Veeva CRM Solutions Engineer for Asia-Pacific is part of the core team at Global IT Commercial & Digital, this role is the primary point of contact for Veeva CRM, Salesforce, and other platforms at IT Commercial & Digital for users across the organization.
This individual will provide technical support, user training, and issue resolution while addressing platform functionality and usage inquiries. The role emphasizes continuous improvement by optimizing business processes and implementing configurations and customizations within Veeva. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will lead the planning and implementation of new features and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities

Represent Global IT as the main contact at Asia-Pacific for IT Commercial & Digital (Veeva CRM, Salesforce, and other platforms)

Support the region to meet specific organizational needs, including creating custom fields, workflows, validation rules, and user profiles.

Ensure solutions align with business requirements and organizational standards.

Perform regular platform maintenance and updates, including user management and performance optimization.

Troubleshoot technical issues and implement updates and patches as required.

Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data.

Manage and execute data loading processes, maintaining clean and complete datasets.

Review, maintain, and document system integrations.

Execute territory changes (e.g., zip code and account-to-territory assignments).

Create and manage MCCPs (Multichannel Cycle Plans).

Load sample lots and manage legacy data cleanup in Veeva, establishing governance for new record creation.

Investigate and resolve issues raised by field teams.

Provide on-site support during National Sales Meetings (NSMs).

Work closely with the Commercial Operations team to develop new connections for brands and business units.

Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend system improvements.
Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in CRM administration with Veeva (also Salesforce is desirable).

Proven expertise in Veeva modules, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.

Strong analytical skills to research and resolve data discrepancies.

Experience in SQL and data loading processes.

Ability to streamline processes and recommend innovative solutions.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and support users effectively.

Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance.

Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
