Value Stream Lead (non-Pens)

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to manage and optimize production operations in different value streams, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in full to patients while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in a cost-effective manner. As the VSL, you will focus on enhancing the value streams' processes to maximize efficiency and quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and achieve strategic business objectives, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor of Pharmacy/Pharm D.

• 10+ years of Experience in relevant field of managing wider operations along with Regulatory Compliance, Lean / Six Sigma Knowledge, Data Analytics, Project Management and Risk Management

• Good Communication and strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team and have a growth driven mind set.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to ensure timely and full delivery of products to patients, maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

• To supervise all operations, involve in carrying out the manufacturing and packing process of Liquid and Tablet products, to produce right first-time product.

• To discuss the production plan with logistic department as to fulfil the market requirement by 100% whatever they demand.

• To coordinate with Engineering department for routine and preventive maintenance of plant and machines to minimize the machine Breakdown.

• To produce quality products with minimum wastage to get standard output.

• Promote, sustain, and improve EHS culture ensuring all operations and people practices are rigorously compliant with all EHS standards

• Ensure and maintain GMP compliance and inspection readiness at all times as per GSK Quality/Compliance standards.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the production team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Identify potential risks in production processes and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and reliability.

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to report progress, challenges, and achievements related to production operations.
