Job Description:
DXC Technology is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to play a key role in the development of innovative digital solutions. Through a co-creative, design-thinking approach, you will contribute to the design and user experience of new applications and features. In this role, you will be involved throughout the entire design process—from supporting sales and proposal development to conducting user research, prototyping, and detailed design. Additionally, you will contribute to the growth and advancement of UX capabilities within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX design process for digital applications and features
- Conduct user research through interviews, usability testing, and other qualitative methods
- Develop prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Axure
- Ensure the application of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Utilize and contribute to design systems (Material Design, GOV.UK, or custom frameworks)
- Facilitate design-thinking workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to align business and user needs
- Provide strategic input and problem-solving expertise to enhance product usability
- Maintain an eye for both detail and overarching design coherence
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in UX/UI design across various projects and industries
- Strong understanding of UX and UI design principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience in conducting qualitative user research and usability testing
- Proficiency in using and implementing design systems
- Ability to facilitate workshops and design-thinking sessions
- Strong functional analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into user-friendly designs
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Language requirements: fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Design Thinking methodologies
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SASS to better collaborate with development teams
- Experience designing for responsive and accessible interfaces
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines
